Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered a huge amount of Yaba from Boalmari Upailla of the district and arrested three drug peddlers in this connection on Sunday night.
According to RAB sources, the elite Force, acting on secret information, found three youths on a motor cycle with suspected movement in Syedpur Bazar area of the upazilla. The RAB members challenged and detained them. After searching them they got 521 pieces of Yaba drug from their possession.The arrested were identified as Imrul, Ohid and Suman all hailing from Shibganj of the same upazilla. According to RAB sources they had been peddling drug in the area for a long time.RAB personnel brought them to Faridpur for interrogation along with the Yaba and the motor cycle. -BSS, Faridpur
