Three policemen closed in Chuadanga for assaulting teacher

Dhaka – Three policemen of Natuda police camp in Damurhuda upazila have been closed to the Chuadanga district Police Lines over charges of assaulting a teacher, UNB news agency reports.The closed policemen are Sergeant Nuruzzaman, in-charge of Natuda police camp, and two constables Shahriar Alam and Delwar Hossain, said Chuadanga superintendent of police Rashidul Hasan.
Sources said three policemen beat a microbus driver while conducting a drive at Akbar intersection of the area on Sunday evening.
Later, they assaulted primary school teacher Asadi Alam as he protested the incident.
The police administration took the action after the locals complained to the SP about the incident.
