Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina started her political career in students’ politics and was elected vice-president of the students’ union of Government Intermediate girls’ college.If we see the recent elections in the local bodies we hardly find educated people and in Parliament elections, we find a few people with political background while most others are businessmen or retired officials.
The government is strongly considering honest, dedicated and political background of people for nominating candidates for elections. On the other hand, none is working to hold DUCSU, RUCSU, JUCSU, other University and College Students Union elections.
