Dhaka, Jan 20 – A mild earthquake jolted parts of northern Bangladesh on Saturday morning.The tremor, measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale, was felt around 7:14am in the northern district, according to Dhaka Met Office.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in Assam in India, some 272 kilometres north of Dhaka’s earthquake observatory, according to Met office.
However, no casualty was reported. – UNB
