Dhaka – A truck helper died from electrocution on Housepur-Jamajomi road in Housepur area of Alamdanga upazila on Saturday noon.The deceased was identified as Rahat Hossain, 25, son of Julhas Ali, a resident of Kolapara thana in Patuakhali district.Akram Hossain, officer-in-charge of Alamdanga Police Station, said that the wood-laden truck got involved with a wire in the area. Rahat came in contact with the live electric wire as he tried to remove the wire and died on the spot, added the OC.UNB news agency
