Gazipu -A truck helper was killed as a truck hit his vehicle in Naoroz area of the city early Sunday.The deceased was identified as Kamal Hossain, 22, hailing from
Dinajpur district,UNB News Agency Reported.Mozammel Haque, sub-inspector of Naoroz highway police outpost, said a speeding truck hit a fertiliser-laden stationary truck in the area around 4:30am, leaving the latter’s helper Kamal dead on the spot.On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital.Police also seized the truck.
