Four people were killed as a truck crashed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Hasnabad on the Sylhet-Chhatak highway in Chhatak upazila of Sunamganj district on Wednesday morning.
Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.Officer-in-charge of Chhatak Police Station Ashok Suja Mamun said the Chhatak-bound truck smashed the three-wheeler in the area at about 8:00am, leaving its four passengers dead on the spot.On information, police recovered the bodies.Police also seized the truck but its driver and helper managed to flee the scene.
