Two children were crushed to death by a train at a railway station in Adamdighi upazila on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Tahmina, daughter of Rabbani, and Habib, son of Wahed, both residents of Sudin village in the upazila. Witnesses said Tahmina and Habib were playing in the rail tracks near their houses when speeding Dhaka-bound train ‘Lalmoni Express’ from Lalmonirhat hit them in the afternoon, leaving them dead on the spot.Later police recovered the bodies and sent those to hospital morgue for autopsy. -UNB, Bogra
