Two security guards of Gulshan Youth Club were received burn injuries when police were destroying detained illegal goods in the area early Sunday.
The injured security guards are—Masud Rana, 42, and Akram, 40.Police sources said Gullshan thana police were destroying seized goods, included contaminated telcom powder and perfume, near Gulshan youth club, opposite of Gulshan police station early hours of Sunday. The goods were seized by a mobile court from the Gulshan thana area recently.
Police demolished the goods with a bulldozer. When they set the packets of the telcom powder and perfume afire, the two security guards, who were watching the scene of demolishing seized goods, received burn injuries, said SI Afroza, duty officer of Gulshan police station.
They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at around 3:00 am. – News Desk
