Dhaka- Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Moulvibazar-Kulaura road in Islampur area here in Moulvibazar on Saturday.The deceased were identified as Nepur Ali, 50, son of Tawhid Ali of Atasan village in Balaganj upazila and auto-rickshaw driver Tarek Mia, 27, son of Tahir Ali of Noyagaon area in Fenchuganj upazila.
The incident took place when a bus hit the auto-rickshaw in the morning leaving two auto-rickshaw passengers critically injured.
Local rushed them to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital where the duty doctors declared them dead, said Md Sohel Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Moulvibazar Model Police Station.The bodies were sent the hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.UNB
