A man and his wife were killed in a head on collided between Karimon and Nosimon at Amjadmiah crossing near Kazirhat ferry ghat area in Bera of Pabna Friday noon. The deceased were identified as Yousuf Ali, 50, and his wife Jahanara Begum alias Buli, 42, village of Sariotpour in Bera of the district. Police and locals said at around 2.30 pm on Friday the accident took place when a three wheeler Karimon from Kashinathpur to Kazirhat collided head on with three wheeler Nasimon from opposite direction, leaving two died on the spot and 8 others injured. Four of the injured were admitted to Bera upazila health complex. Police recovered the bodies and sent to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue for postmortem examination.
