Two people were crushed under the wheels of a truck in Chargaon area on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Bahubal upazila in Habiganj on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Zahir Mia, 35,Habiganj and Ranu Chandra Rai, 26, of Habiganj town.Witnesses said the Jaflong-bound truck from Dhaka hit a motorcycle carrying Zahir and Ranu in the area around 3:00pm, leaving Zahir dead on the spot and Ranu injured.Injured Ranu succumbed to his injuries on way to Osmani Medical College Hospital.
