Two women were killed as a hailstorm swept through the district early Monday.The deceased were identified as Neherunnesa, 50, wife of Sohrab Fakir,a resident of Baghdanga village and Ramela Khatun, 70, a resident of Dargapara village of Sadar upazila.Witnesses said Neherunnesa died as a tin sheet of her house fell collapsed over her amid the hailstorm in Sadar upazila around 3:30 am.On the other hand, Ramela died from fear during the hailstorm around 4:00 am, according to local people.Besides, many houses were damaged and trees and electric poles uprooted by the storm.Sadar upazila project implementation officer (PIO) Abu Soyeb Khan
