U17 ODI: Bangladesh beat Afghanistan by 7 wkts

Dhaka – Bangladesh Under-17 side defeated Afghanistan Under-17 by seven wickets in the second match to level the three-match one-day series margin 1-1 at Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground in India on Sunday.
Bangladesh conceded a 17-run defeat in the first match at the same venue on March 23.
Replying to 121 runs in the 2nd match, Bangladesh reached their destination scoring 124 for 3 in 33 overs where opener Prantik Nawroz Nabil (37), Md Tahsin (34), Amite Hasan (24*) and skipper Parvez Hossain Emon (23*) were double digit scorers for the side.
Suliman Arabzai (2/18) and Naveed Ahmad (1/37) were wicket takers for Afghanistan.
Batting first after winning the toss, Afghanistan were restricted on 121 for all in 44.2 overs with wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Ishaq top-scoring 44 off 67 balls, including four boundaries. Baseer Khan and Suliman Arabzai added 27 and 13 runs respectively.
Tahsin was adjudged man of the match for his all-round performance as he captured two wickets for 24 runs with ball after 34 runs with bat for Bangladesh.
Conceding 21 runs each, Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and Mehedi Hasan Ani equally shared six wickets for Bangladesh while Shahadat Hossain (1/9) was another wicket getter for the side.
The series decider of the meet will be held at the same venue on March 27.UNB
