Holding the slogan ‘Stop fighting, let’s Negotiate the Jahangirnaar University Model’ the United Nations Association will host a three-day long conference on 27 to 29 August at the campus.
Md Riyajul Karim, secretary general of Jamuna, disclosed this at a press conference at the office room of JU Journalists’ Association (Juja) at 2.30pm on Tuesday.Students from schools, colleges and universities at home and abroad are eligible for taking part in the conference, he said.
To participate in the conference, students have to fill in online registration form through the link www.jumuna.org.
After submitting all information, registration will be confirmed. Then, participants shall have to pay fees as delegates.
The last date of registration is August 22.
JU Vice Chancellor Farzana Islam and Officer-in-Charge of the United Nations Information Center M Moniruzzaman and Nazrul Islam Babu MP for Narayanganj-2 will attend the programme.
The concluding ceremony will be held at Savar Golf Club, Md Riyajul Karim said. – JU Correspondent
