Dhaka, Sept 8 – Nirbachan Bhaban, the headquarters of the Election Commission of Bangladesh, caught fire in the city’s Agargaon area on Sunday around midnight.Quamrul Hasan, an operator at the Fire Service Central Control Room, said the fire originated in the basement around 11:06pm.
On information, 10 firefighting units rushed in and brought the fire under control around 12:25am on Monday, he said, adding that the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately. – UNB
