US election: Absentee voting week Sep 27-Oct 4

Dhaka, Sept 24 – The US Embassy in Dhaka has encouraged US voters by participating in the “Absentee Voting Week” and taking necessary steps to vote in the November election. This year, September 27-October 4 is the Absentee Voting Week in the US.
In some states, voter registration and ballot request deadlines for the polls are as early as October 5.
Whether someone is a first-time US voter or has already received ballots and voted absentee in past elections, US Embassy Dhaka recommended completing a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) each year to ensure they are able to participate in elections as an overseas absentee voter.
Many polls in the past decade saw a margin of victory of less than 0.1 percent.
All states are required to count every absentee ballot if it is valid and reaches local election officials by the absentee ballot receipt deadline which differs by state. – UNB
