Bollywood actress Tanuja who got diagnosed with diverticulitis, finally underwent a surgery on Thursday . This week sure has been tough for both Ajay Devgn and Kajol as earlier this week, the family lost Veeru Devgan and now Tanuja’s surgery happened.
The same was confirmed by an official present at the hospital where she was admitted. The official informed that Tanuja is now doing fine post her surgery and is expected to be the in the hospital for a week. For the unversed, Diverticulitis is inflammation or infection of small pouches called diverticula that develop along the walls of the intestines.
Tanuja was admitted at a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday after suffering ‘with some pain in the abdomen’. The 75-year-old actress recently appeared in projects like Pitruroon, A Death in the Gunj, Aarambh and Sonar Pahar, reports Indian Express.
