Vote fearlessly to restore ownership of state: Dr. Kamal

Dhaka, Dec 28 – The Jatiya Oikya Front (National United Front) has called upon the people for ensuring their ownership of the country by applying the voting power with confident minds ignoring the fear of threats and intimidation on December 30. On Friday afternoon, the senior leader of the front spoke to journalists under the office of the united front at Purana Paltan. This call was made by the font’s chief Dr Kamal Hossain. Dr Kamal’s written statement was read out by the head of the Coordination Committee of the front Jugalul Haider Afrik.
He said the united front believed in the unity of the people of the country. The people have never been wrong in making the right decisions in the past, they would not make mistakes this time too. They will come together at polling stations, like heroes, by trivializing all kinds of fears. The people of this country will make use of their valuable vote in the face of ongoing attacks through participation in the 30 December battle over the ballot, in order to get back the of democratic freedom, to get back to the country’s ownership, and to make independence meaningful. The patriotic army will create a safe voting environment for the voters on December 30, the national united front expected this of them, he said.
Afrik said that in the eleventh parliamentary elections, the united front candidature contesting with the symbol – Sheaf of paddy and the candidates’ workers-supporters are not being given an opportunity to campaign the field. Even then the voters did not feel discouraged. They have taken their own preparations and returned to their areas after 10 years to apply their desired franchise, to vote for the preferred candidates. They are waiting for the festival to vote.
