Dhaka, June 24 – A court of Dhaka on Sunday issued warrant of arresst against singer Mila as she did not appear in the court to testify for a long time.
Judge Md Sharif Uddin of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-9 of Dhaka issued the warrant on Sunday.
Earlier, the court fixed Sunday to record the depositions of complainant Mila. Mila did not turn up to the court since the charge in the case was framed in 2018. She was absent in the court on six dates fixed for recording her depositions. Later, the court fixed July 22 for the next process of the case.
On October 5, 2017, Mila filed the case with Uttara West Police Station against her former husband pilot Pervez Sanzeri for assaulting her claiming dowry. She claimed that her former husband assaulted her several times since their marriage. – Special Correspondent
