WB govt not allowing trains with migrants to reach State

West Bengal government is not allowing trains with migrants reaching the State, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday.Mr. Shah said that the Central government has helped more than 2 lakh migrants reach their hometowns.
“Migrants from West Bengal are also eager to reach home. The central government is facilitating this, but we are not getting the expected support from West Bengal,” wrote Mr. Shah in a letter to the CM.
He said that the West Bengal government is not allowing trains to reach the State.
“This is an injustice to the West Bengal migrant labourers. This will create further hardship for them,” he wrote in the letter. – The Hindu
