Sirajganj – A handloom weaver was found slaughtered in a paddy field at Chandanaganti Paschimpara village of Belkuchi upazila on Monday morning.The deceased was identified as Rohel Hossain, 28, son of Shukur Ali, a resident of the village.Locals spotted his body in the paddy field around 9am and informed police.Later police recovered the body and sent it to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy.Anisur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Belkuchi Police Station, said Rohel went out from his house around 8pm on Sunday night and did not return.A case was filed in this connection.
