Wednesday’s JSC, JDC exams rescheduled

Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations scheduled to be held on November 13 (Wednesday) have been rescheduled due to the 84-hour hartal enforced by the BNP-led 18-party alliance.
As per the new timetable, JSC Physical Education and Health examination of the day will be held on November 22 (Friday) at 2:30 pm while Bangla second paper examination under JDC will be held on November 23 (Saturday) at 2 pm.
Earlier on Saturday, the authorities had to reschedule the JSC and JDC exams of November 10, November 11 and Nov 12 due to the shutdown.
The JSC exams scheduled for Nov 10 and 11 will begin at 10 am on Nov 14 (Thursday) and Nov 16 (Saturday) while that of Nov 12 will be held at 2 pm on Nov 21 (Thursday).
Besides, the JDC exam for Nov 10 will be held at 10 am on Nov 14 (Thursday) and those for Nov 11 and 12 will be held at 2 pm on Nov 21 (Thursday) and Nov 22 (Friday) respectively.
The BNP-led 18-party alliance on Friday called a fresh nonstop 72-hour nationwide hartal from 6 am on Sunday (Nov 10) to press the government for arranging the next general election under a non-party neutral government.
Later, the opposition alliance extended the shutdown by 12 hours to 84 protesting the arrest of the top five BNP leaders. -UNB
