Winter clothes were distributed among freedom fighters at Mehendiganj upazila health complex in the district yesterday.US expatriate Bangladeshi and freedom fighters’ commander of US unit Dr Abdul Baten sponsored the winter clothes distribution.
Freedom fighters Kamal Uddin Khan (mayor of Mehendiganj paurasava), Sardar Anisur Rahman and Md Nazrul Islam were present on the occasion.Speaking briefly on the occasion, Dr Baten said he was very happy to do something for the valiant freedom fighters.He said the present government has worked a lot for the welfare of the freedom fighters. -BSS, Barisal
