Women T20I: Ireland ask Bangladesh to bat

Dhaka – Ireland women’s cricket team won the toss and invited visiting Bangladesh to bat first in the 3rd and last match of the T20I series at Pembroke Cricket Club ground in Dublin on Sunday.Bangladesh, coming into the final game with a 2-0 series win, aim to set a record of their first-ever clean sweep against any side in this format, while Ireland will be keen to register a win as both sides are preparing for the Women’s World T20 Qualifier in the Netherlands starting on July 5.
There is one change in each side as Panna Ghosh came in replacing Khadija Tul-Kubra in the Bangladesh side, while Amy Kenealy replacing Lara Maritz in host side XI.
Bangladesh Women XI: Salma Khatun (captain), Shamima Sultana, Ayasha Rahman, Fahima Khatun, Fargana Hoque, Jahanara Alam, Nahida Akter, Niger Sultana, Panna Ghosh, Rumana Ahmed and Sanjida Islam.
