Dhaka – The Dhaka Premier Division Women’s Cricket League match between Rupali Bank and Khelaghar SKS was abandoned half way due to rain at BKSP ground-4 in Savar on Friday.Favoured by coin, Khelaghar SKS batted first and were all out for 119 runs in 40 overs with Nigar Sultana making 43 runs off 101 balls featuring two boundaries.Besides, Shohely Akhter (20), Shahnaj Parvin (18) and Fahima Khatun (10) were main contributors of Khelaghar SKS.Sathira Zakir claimed three wickets for 20 runs while Tazia Akhter and Shaila Sharmin took two wickets each conceding 4 and 22 runs respectively.
Replying to Khelaghar’s moderate total, Rupali Bank failed to open the innings due to heavy downpour forcing the match to be abandoned. (UNB)
