Dhaka – Four teams — holders Chittagong, Dhaka, Rajshahi and Rangpur Divisions — reached the semifinals of the Development Cup Under-16 Football Tournament eliminating their rivals at Mohammadpur Physical Education College ground on the 2nd day of the tournament on Friday. In the semifinals on Saturday, Dhaka will face Rajshahi while Chittagong will meet Rangpur.The final match will be held on May 16 (Monday) where Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy is expect to be the chief guest In the day’s matches, Rangpur outplayed Mymensingh by 4-0 goals, Rajshahi defeated Barisal by 1-0 goal, Dhaka beat Sylhet by 2-0 goals while Chittagong overcame Khulna by 3-1 goals in tie-breaker.A total of eight divisional football teams are taking part in the Under-16 tournament.
