Women’s T20Is: Pak settle series win vs BD 2-0

Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team set the four-match T20I series victory against host Bangladesh 2-0 as they got a seven-wicket win in the third game at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox’s Bazar on Friday.

With the day’s results, Pakistan registered the second successive win in the series, having another win by 58-run in the second game, after the abandoned first match at the same venue. Both sides will face each other in the last T20I on Saturday.

Pakistan shored the day’s win with scoring 85 for 3 in 18.1 overs, replying to Bangladesh’s post of 81 for 8 in 20 overs.

Player of the match Nahida Khan scored 33 off 40 balls, including three boundaries, while skipper Javeria Khan hit unbeaten 31* off 37 balls, including two boundaries, and Ayesha Zafar added run-a-ball 13 for Pakistan.

Rumana Ahmed [1/10] and Fahima Khatun[ 1/15] shared two wickets for Bangladesh.

Earlier, Bangladesh opted to bat first after winning the toss for their collection where Nigar Sultana [19 off 29b; 1×4], Rumana Ahmed [12 off 9b; 1×4] and opener Shamima Sultana [10 off 21b; 1×4] were double digit scorers.

Nashra Sandhu [2/16] and Nida Dar[2/16] shared four wickets while Anam Amin [1/10] and AimanAnwer [1/20] two wickets for Pakistan.
