Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested an alleged drug dealer along with 306 pieces of Yaba tablets from Kadamtoli area in Dakhshin Surma upazila in Sylhet on Friday.The arrestee was identified as Md Shahed Ali, 22, son of late Suruj Ali, a resident of Moskapur village in Golapganj upazila.Moin Uddin Chowdhury, senior assistant superintendent and also senior assistant director (Media) of Rab-9, said that on secret information, a team of Rab conducted the drive in the area around 4:00 pm and arrested Shahed along with the Yaba tablets worth TK one lakh.Later, the arrestee was handed over to Dakhshin Surma Police Station.UNB news agency
