Dhaka – Rajshahi Division clinched the boys title while Dhaka Division the girls crown of Bangladesh Youth Games Football eliminating their rivals in the finals at Bir Shreshtra Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamlapur on Wednesday. BFF Vice-president Tabith Awal, BFF members Iqbal Hossain and Zakir Hossain and BOA member Mahmud Jamal were present in the finals to distribute the prizes.In the boys’ final, Rajshahi Division emerged champions beating Sylhet Division by 4-1 goals. Piasstruck twice in the 33rd and 55th minutes, Sajib scored the 3rd goal in the 65th minute while Akash completed Rajshahi tally adding one more goal in the 77th minute from a penalty.Ajash scored the consolation goal for Sylhet in the 61st minute.In the girls’ final, Dhaka Division clinched the title beating Mymensingh Division by 3-1 goals.Ratna and Shahida scored one each for Dhaka Division in addition to a suicidal goal by Moina while SHE also scored the lone goal for Mymensingh.
