Dhaka – A security guard was killed under the wheels of a speedy vehicle in the city’s Amtoli of Mohakhali on Wednesday.The victim was identified as Suvash Chandra Bhoumic, 58, a security guard of Magnet Security Service Ltd of Banani Road -2.Sub-inspector Md Abdul Hannan of Banani Police Station said Suvash used to live inside the office of the Magnet Security Service Ltd. He is a retired Lance Nayek of Bangladesh Army.The incident took place when Suvash was about to cross the main road of Amtoli at around 6:30 am. Suddenly, a speedy vehicle ran over him and fled the scene. Suvas died on the spot, SI Hannan said.The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.Son of late Mohananda Bhoumic, Suvas hailed from Jagannatdi village under Madhukhali upazila in Faridpur district.UNB
