A mobile court headed by Md. Farid Hossain, Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate of Chitalmari Upazila in Bagerhat district convicted a young man named Zakir Hossain, son of one late Mokbul Hossain of village Rahanmatpur under the Upazila and sentenced him to suffer simple imprisonment for one year on the charge of teasing and taunting a girl student.
It is learnt from the police that on Thursday the convicted person teased and taunted a girl student of Rahamatpur Collegiate School under the Upazila in front of the institution a teacher of the school who noticed the matter caught the debauched fellow and handed over him to the police. Police brought him before the court of Md. Farid Hossain, Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate of Chitalmari. The court found him guilty and awarded him the aforesaid punishment.Bagerhat Correspondent
