Benapole – Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested a young man along with a pistol at Bhaina village in Sadar upazila on Sunday night.The arrestee was identified as Kamrul Islam, son of late Nawab Ali of the village.
Acting on secret information, a team of DB police arrested Kamrul conducting a drive at Bhaina village at 9.00am and recovered a pistol
and a magazine from a mango orchard in the area.
Later, a case was filed under the Arms Act with Kotwali Police Station in this connection.
