Police recovered the body of a young man from a pond at Tajpur village in Pirganj upazila on Friday.Identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.AKM Mehedi Hasan, officer-in-charge of Pirganj Police Station, said locals spotted the youth’s body floating in a pond of the village around 11.00am, and informed police.Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. – UNB, Thakurgaon
