Police arrested a young man in possession of fake currency notes amounting to Tk 75,000 from Gopalpur in Shibganj upazila on Friday.The arrestee was identified as Shafiullah, 23, son of Mansur of the village.Tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the village and arrested him from his house along with the forged note of Tk 1,000 denomination around 11 am.A case was filed in this connection with Shibganj Police Station. -UNB, Chapainawabganj
