Police arrested a young man along with a foreign made pistol and
bullets at Palnari intersection in Jessore town on Sunday.
The arrested young man was identified as Ekser Ali,25, son of Abdus
Sattar of Khoyertala of the town.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area
and arrested Ekser along with one foreign made pistol, one magazine,
two rounds of bullet and 20 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup in the
morning.
A case was filed in this connection.
