A young man was crushed to death under the wheels of a truck at
Shankarpur in the district town on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Shahidul Islam, 25, son of Sheikh
Keramat Ali of Bhangarkhali village of Shemnagar upazila of Satkhira
district.
Locals said a speeding truck ran over Shahidul when he was standing in
front of a poultry farm in the area in the morning, leaving him
injured.
Critically injured Shahidul was rushed to Jessore General Hospital
where attending doctor declared him dead. -UNB, Jessore
