“The youth will save our country from the militancy as a same way they achieved the independence of the country. Some misled youths are making chaos in the country. If the youths come forward to prevent this the problem will be solved.
The speakers said this in a human chain organized by Rajshahi University Teachers Association (RUTA) in front of the university senate building at 11.00am protesting the militant activities in the country.
They further said that the seed of militancy was sowed earlier, what is being happened in the country is the result of it. To challenge the militancy the youths should be engaged in cultural activities.
University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Mizanuddin, Pro-VC Professor Chowdhury Sarwar Jahan, RUTA president Professor Shahidullah, general secretary Professor Shah Azam and more than of teachers were present at the program. -RU Correspondent
