SYLHET: Bangladesh Chhatra League allegedly beat up at least three Shibir activists in Majortila area of the district on Thursday.The Shibir activists–Nurul, Kamil and Kawser—were injured in the incident.
Of the injured, two were rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospital and another one was given first aid.
Witnesses said the Shibir activists, also students of Government College of the area, were beaten up by Chhatra League.
Former Chhatra League Organizing Secretary Jahangir Alam said, “They were held and later released.”
