Dhaka – Police in a special drive from Sunday night to Monday morning arrested 45 people, including 10 activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami, from different areas in Satkhira on various charges.Kamal Hossain, information officer of the district police, said police launched a drive in different areas of eight upazilas and arrested the 45, including nine activists of Jamaat and one of BNP,UNB news agency reported.Some of the arrestees were accused in sabotage cases, added Kamal.Among the arrestees, 12 were from Sadar upazila, seven from Kalaroa,five from Tala, seven from Kaliganj, four from Ashashuni, five fromShyamnagar, one from Debhata and four from Patkelghata upazila.
