Chittagong city and district police in a series of drives detained ten activists of BNP-Jamaat-Shibir from port city and three upazilas of the district on Saturday night.Naimul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Special Branch) of Chittagong district said police detained seven activists in overnight raids at various places of Sitakunda, Lohagara and Satkania Upazilas on Saturday night to prevent possible acts of sabotage during country-wide blockade and hartal enforced by BNP-led 20 party alliance.CMP police also detained two hartal supporters from separate area in the city today.Among the detainees, three were BNP activists, three Jamaat activists and four Islami Chhatra Shibir activist, the police officer added.BSS, Chittagong
