Police in separate drives arrested 10 alleged members of an inter-district robber gang from Dhaka, Narayanganj, Manikganj, Chittagong and Gazipur districts in the last 24 hours on Saturday.The arrestees were identified as Sultan, Dilu, Bachchu, Nazrul, Jahid, Sheikh Oli, Mosharraf, Manir Hossain, Ayub Ali and Didar.Shahidul Islam, sub-inspector of Ashulia police station, said acting on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in Ashulia of Savar on Friday and arrested a member of the robber gang along with a looted truck and some country-made weapons.Following confessional statement of the arrestee, Ashulia police conducted separate drives in Gazipur, Manikganj, Narayanganj and Chittagong districts and arrested nine other members of the gang.Mostafa Kamal, officer-in-charge of Ashulia Police Station, confirmed the arrestees. -UNB, Savar
