Dhaka – Police in their special drive detained 100 people, including ten activists of Jamaat-e-Islami, from different parts in Satkhira on Sunday.Inspector Mizanur Rahman of special branch of Satkhira police said they conducted the special drive in different parts of the district from Saturday night to early Sunday and detained them on various charges.Among the detainees, ten were Jamaat men of Kaliganj upazila, he added.Some 13 cases were filed against them on different charges, including sabotages and drugs.UNB news agency
