11 Rohingyas pushed back to Myanmar

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard pushed back 11 Rohingyas to Myanmar early Wednesday when they were trying to intrude into Bangladesh through the sea in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.
Sources at Coast Guard headquarters said a patrol team of Coast Guard from Teknaf Station detained the 11 Myanmar nationals when they were trying to enter the Bangladesh water territory by a small wooden boat at Niting around 9pm on Tuesday.
They are Nur Alam, 20, Hafez Ahmed, 22, Ahsan, 15, Labdhu, 20, Osman, 22, Abdul Alim, 17, Jonayed, 19, Rashid Ahmed, Ruma Begum, 17, Hamida Begum, 16, and Rahima Khatun, 15.   Following interrogation, the custodians of the country’s coastal belts came to know that the arrested are Myanmar nationals. Later, they were pushed back to Myanmar along with the wooden boat around 3am on Wednesday. – UNB
