2 Bangladeshis killed in BSF firing at Jhenidah border

Two Bangladeshi cattle traders were killed and another person was injured in Indian Border Security Force (BSF) firing at the Moheshpur border in Jhenidah district early Wednesday morning. The shooting took place at the Lebutala border under Jabadpur Union of Moheshkhali Upazila, according to a message received in Dhaka.
Local people said,Aminul Islam (35) son of Siraj Mandal of Lebutala village, Faizal (45) son of Shahadat Hossain of Jaguli village, abd Farukh from the Indian side went to collect cattle from near the border. Amirul Islam and Faizul died on the spot as BSF members opened fire at them.Injured Farukh has been admitted to the Jessore Sadar Hospital.
Rafiqul Islam, local company commander of Border Guards Bangladesh, confirmed the news and said that an initiative has been taken to collect the bodies of the dead cattle traders, the message said. – News desk
