2 bodies recovered in Chuadanga

Police recovered the bodies of two people with the throats slashed from Natudah village in Damurhuda upazila on Monday morning.
The deceased were identified as Shahabul Islam alias Sabur, 40, son of late Tamim Sheikh, and Selim, 38, son of Abdul Jalil of Mohajanpur village of Mujibnagar upazila of Meherpur district.Locals said they found the bodies lying at a mango orchard of one Kanai Babu at the village in the morning and informed police.Later, police recovered the bodies around 9:00am and sent those to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.Contacted, officer-in-charge of Damurhuda Model Police Station Ahsan Habib said the two deceased were members of a robber gang and used to extort money from people in different ways in Mujibnagar upazila, adding that they might have been killed by their rivals in the gang. -UNB, Chuadanga
