2 bullet-hit drug traders held in city 

Dhaka – Two suspected drug traders sustained bullet-hit injuries in a clash with police personnel in Kadamtali Pukurpar area of the city early Wednesday.The injured were identified as Shah Jalal, 19, and Noman, 18, of the area.Abdul Aziz, officer-in-charge of Kadamtali Police Station, said on secret information a team of police conducted a special drive in the area.Sensing the presence of law enforcers, they hurled bombs to the police, prompting them to fire.Later, Shah Jalal and Noman received bullet wounds and their associates managed to flee the scene.Shah Jalal and Noman are the aides of notorious robber Billal of the area.Police also recovered seven bombs, three knives and some sharp weapons from the spot, the OC added.The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.UNB news agency
