Two policemen were injured in an attack by some alleged robbers at
Nalshisha in Nawabganj upazila midnight Friday.
The injured policemen were identified as Sub-inspector Mizan and
constable Siraj.
Shawkat Ali, officer-in-charge of Parbatipur Police Station, said a
gang of robbers attacked Sub-inspector Mizan and constable Siraj while
they were patrolling the Phulbari-Madhyapara Road in the area at about
12.00 am.
The robbers also beat them mercilessly and looted a motorcycle and a pistol.
The injured policemen were admitted to Rangpur Medical College
