Dhaka – Two people were killed and seven others injured in a head-on collision between a local bus and a human-hauler on Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.The deceased were identified as Md Hasan Khan, 32, a resident of Saltha upazila in Faridpur and Liton Sheikh, 30, a resident of Moheshpur upazila in Jhenidah.UNB agencyMd Nizamul Islam, a sub-inspector of Kanaipur Highway Police Camp, said the accident took place when the Kamarkhali-bound bus collided with the human-hauler around 8:15am in front of Kanaipur Rural Electricity Society, leaving the two dead.The injured were taken to Faridpur Medical College and Hospital.Meanwhile, police arrested the bus driver.
