Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive arrested two alleged smugglers along with 2.4kg gold from Nastipur border village of Damurhuda upazila on Monday morning.The arrestees were identified as Anisur Rahman, 45, son of Shamsul Haque, and Kawser Ali, son of Emdadul Haque of the village.Major Anwar Jahid, additional commander of Chuadanga BGB battalion-6, said on secret information, a team of the border guards took position on Nastipur-Baradi road at the village in the morning.The BGB members intercepted the two men while they were crossing the road riding a motorcycle.After searching their body, the BGB men recovered the gold. -UNB, Chuadanga
